Community Health Collaborator.

Passionate about people and population health, you can typically find Alex collaborating with a community partner or scouring a data-filled map - always with a cup of coffee nearby.

For starters, you can call me Alex. I’m glad you’re here. Whether you landed on this site inadvertently or as a colleague, I hope these pages capture a fraction of my enthusiasm for community engagement and supporting the well-being of my neighbors, friends, coworkers, and folks I’ve never had the pleasure of meeting.

Starting my career in end-of-life care, I quickly recognized the value of relationships and the essential nature of public health. Moving from clinical work to community organizing, I saw the systemic reach and impact of the local public health system.

My professional and lived experiences provide the foundation from which I aim to honor community voices and meaningfully contribute to population health. For me, this takes form through implementing evidence-informed, community-supported interventions. I am invested in the continuous quality improvement of public health programs, and I am excited to share some of my work with you.

“Choose learning over knowing.

Look outward and find energy and joy from seeing what you missed.”
